Wollongong has a new dinosaur connection and no, it’s not the Gongbusaurus. It’s a collection of plants from the Jurassic Period that were today unveiled at Wollongong Botanic Garden.

The UCI Road World Championships brings a pinnacle cycling event to Wollongong 18 - 25 September!
We’ll be open every day of the Championships, but traffic changes vary daily and may affect how you enter the Botanic Garden.
You can even watch the race from the Garden as the athletes ride along Murphys Avenue.
Due to the current rains, the playground and some areas of the Garden are closed
Repairs are scheduled for Puckeys Estate pathways.
Mount Keira Summit Park remains closed
Due to the recent wet weather, the Garden and Mount Keira will remain closed over the weekend as we undertake clean up and repair work
