Through storytelling, guided walks and hands on activities this session introduces and explores the Garden's habitats and its inhabitants.

Students will:

  • Make a mud map of a key area of the Garden highlighting its ecology and its human interactions
  • Undertake a rainforest mini beast hunt and a creekline dipnet to collect data
  • Visit two contrasting habitats and describe the features of these places and the connection people have with these places
