Birds, mammals, reptiles, minibeasts and some amazing plant life reside here in the Wollongong Botanic Garden. Visit different environments and explore the nature that lives there.
Students will:
- Visit the rainforest and undertake minibeast sampling to collect data on living things in the understory
- Use dipnets to sample the wet environment creek line for macro invertebrates
- Identify bird species and its matching habitat through a bird bingo walk
- Make some eco art describing observable features of the botanic garden and its flora and fauna
