Maintenance of Mount Keira Summit Park is supported by a group of volunteers from the Rotary Club of Wollongong as part of the Mount Keira Working Bee Program. Rotary has played an important role in the funding and development of Mount Keira Summit Park.

The group meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 5pm from October to March (except in January).

Volunteers provide garden maintenance and planning tasks for the first hour of each month's meeting, to ensure the site remains beautiful. This work is done under the supervision of an experience horticulturist. After the working bee, volunteers are invited to stay for a BYO dinner and social catch up overlooking the spectacular city views.

New volunteers are always welcome. Please email the Botanic Garden or call (02) 4227 7667 for more information.
