Online Composting Workshop

When:
8 May 24 - 8 May 24 6:30pm

Would you like to learn how to turn your food scraps and garden clippings into compost?

Composting is great for the garden, great for your mind and body. It takes little effort, is achievable and gives back to the environment.

In this free online workshop we’ll discuss how to choose a compost bin, where to place it, what to put in and what to leave out, maintenance, how to know when it is ready and how to use it.

You can watch this online workshop from the comfort of your own home, and have your questions about composting answered live.

Please note, this online workshop does not entitle you to a free compost bin. If you would like a free compost bin you may prefer to attend our face-to-face workshop on Friday 10 May.

This event is held as part of International Compost Awareness Week. Check Council's event page to see other composting and worm farming workshops you can take part in.
