Tai Chi (Seniors Festival)

When:
5 March 26 - 5 March 26 10:30am

As part of the city’s Seniors Festival 2026, Five Islands Tai Chi invites you to enjoy a free Tai Chi class set in the peaceful surrounds of the Botanic Garden.

Tai Chi is a gentle, low-impact exercise that benefits both mind and body. Research shows it can improve balance, flexibility, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness, helping to reduce the risk of falls and support the management of chronic conditions such as arthritis. Practiced regularly, Tai Chi also promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety, and improves focus and overall wellbeing.

These welcoming classes are suitable for beginners and those with some experience and are designed with seniors in mind.
