Tracks and Scats
Did you know that wombat poo is cubed or that flying foxes help build forests?
Join us in the Garden as we explore the tracks and scats of some well-known Australian animals and learn to identify them by the clues they leave behind.
This program will include
- learning about what types of food different animals eat, and what types of tracks they leave behind
- sculpting up some pretend animal scats
- going on an adventure through the Garden following some animal trails. Hopefully we also spot a few different animals along the way.
This outdoor program includes hands on activities that are designed to expand participant’s knowledge of the natural environment.
Activities are suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years.
This is not a drop-off program so parents must attend with their child.
Cost: $25 per child. Places are limited. Adults attending with the child require a free ticket.
Bookings are essential via Humanitix.
