Junk Play

Come play with Junkyard Rascals in the ever-changing loose parts junkyard for 2 hours of child-led fun.

A giant collection of repurposed and natural materials topped off with a set of big blue blocks, plus the natural wonders of the Garden's Sustainable Garden. There is so much to do, the only limit is your imagination.

This is not a drop-off program so parents must attend with their child.

Activities are suitable for children aged up to 14 years.

Cost: $30 per child (babies under 12 months are free if attending with an older sibling). Places are limited.

What to wear: Play clothes that can get dirty. As Junkyard Rascals play in all-weather, please pack clothes to support a change in weather or the need to change and remember your hats and sunscreen.

What to bring: Snacks and a water bottle (bubbler near our play space)

Check in: Please meet the Junkyard Rascals team near the Garden's Sustainable Garden (map ref: P - 8) - adjacent to the Education Centre.

Closest parking: along Madoline Street, Gwynneville.

Cancellations

If this session is canceled due to severe weather, Junkyard Rascals we will credit you to attend another Junkyard Rascals session of the same value.

If a session is delayed, paused or canceled after it has already begun due to weather or safety concerns, Junkyard Rascals are unable to refund or credit the program cost. If Junkyard Rascals need to cancel the program due to an extreme weather event warning (e.g. bush fires), a credit will be offered.

If you are absent from a program due to illness, change of mind or any other reason, no refund will be offered. Refunds may be given (at our discretion) with greater than 7 days notice.
