Growing Great Veggies Workshop

When:
7 November 25 - 7 November 25 4pm

Join us for a hands-on workshop where we’ll build a thriving no-dig vegetable garden from the ground up. Guided by expert instruction, you’ll discover how to layer organic materials to create a nutrient-rich foundation that supports healthy, resilient plants - without turning a single spade of soil.

What you’ll learn:

  • Companion Planting Techniques: Discover how strategic plant pairings naturally deter pests and boost pollination.
  • Drought-Proofing Your Garden: Learn water-wise strategies to keep your garden flourishing through dry spells.
  • Soil Life & Microbial Magic: Understand how fungi, bacteria, and compost critters become your garden’s hidden workforce by breaking down organic matter and feeding your plants.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned gardeners alike who want to grow food in harmony with nature.

Activities are suitable for teens and older.

Cost: $20 per person. Places are limited.
