This Aboriginal program offers an immersive cultural experience that connects students with traditional Indigenous knowledge and practices.
Students will:
- Build a traditional Aboriginal Shelter
- Listen to a dreaming story and discuss how oral traditions pass down knowledge and values
- Go on a bush tucker walk and identify native plants used for food and medicine
- Construct a mini-Aboriginal Bark Canoe and undertake a test float
