Nocturnal Wildlife Walk

12 May 21 - 12 May 21 5:30pm

Explore our beautiful Garden under the mysterious cloak of darkness and meet some of the wildlife that call us home

After a short animal life discussion  we will head off to explore various sections of the Garden to see who we can spot. Animals that may be encountered include Tawny Frogmouths, Possums, Eastern Dwarf Tree Frogs, and a whole bunch of mini beasts, including the bizarre glass shrimps and slightly scary Giant Water Spider.

Your guides have many years of experience and a wealth of knowledge on the plants and animals that call the Garden home.

This walk is most suitable for participants aged 5 years and older

Please bring a torch and wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the cool temperatures.

The Botanic Garden becomes a place of magic as the night falls and even if we don’t see many of its hidden animals, the experience of walking through it at night is one you will never forget.

Minimum participants: 10

We will cancel the walk by 5pm the day before if minimum participants are not registered. If poor weather occurs, the decision to cancel will be made by 12pm on the day of the walk. In both circumstances, registered participants will be notified by email or phone.

Bookings are essential via Eventbrite
